What's next?
So news was just announced that the 4th Narnia movie is being made. *sigh*
Come on, His Dark Materials is SOOO much better, deeper, and darker than Narnia. Walden Media canceled the fourth Narnia film after poor BO performance for the 3rd, but now it's getting made anyway. Why can't the same thing happen for HDM?
I think the things we fans can hope for now is a remake of the Golden Compass, with new cast, director, and script. One that stays more faithful to the book. Who knows how long it'll be till it gets made though...I am confidant that HDM is such a destined-to-be-classic work that it WILL be remade. The question is just when.
