The Dæmon in The His Dark Materials Trilogy at the physical manifestation of people's souls in Lyra's world, but I was wondering how are the actually born or created in the world? Are they born with a person, are they born from a Dæmon or are they created from Dust after the birth?

I don't think its ever mentioned, I may be wrong but I don't think there's a definite answer. I would assume created on birth as soon as you leave the womb and enter the physical world. Idk, good question.
shareNot sure about in the books, but in the movie when a person dies the daemon turns into a puff of dust, so maybe that's how they appear. After all, they're their souls.
