It is hilarious watching homophobic, right wing religious crazies criticise people for boycotting Ender's Game because of Orson Scott Card's political views yet were quite happy to boycott Golden Compass for Pullman's views.
p.s. Paid to see both movies at the cinema. Both are average but still watchable.

Ender's Game and Golden Compass are both indeed mediocre and not worth their budgets but, as Bozohead wrote, quite watchable (the films losing money got no bearance on my viewing pleasure).
its just so CRAZY since most airport rest room gay arrests and pedophile stings end up captureing Conservatives-maybe the 'Family Values' thing is so onerous to keep the facade up, that they need to release pent up energy of being so damn good, that they need to do harm to compensate=just last week a Conservative preacher who hated gays was caught diddling little boys in the church basement...go figure
