I've watched this movie twice, now, and really like it. Patrick Muldoon is a doll! I really liked the fact that he (Ryan) cried when he thought he'd lost Holly near the end. Good acting when a man can cry! I've never seen Patrick in anything before this movie and was impressed by his looks and his acting.
shareI've always liked Patrick from his days on Days of our Lives. He is a hottie. I kind of forgot about him after he left the soap. He also was on Melrose Place. But after he starred in Starship Troopers, I started paying more attention to him again. I've seen around 12 of his movies.

He was the "manager" of the lil diner (The Max) that they all hung out at ... Kelly had the hots for him, whilest Zack was still jonesing on her ... He's definitely filled out & grown up since he was on that show ... I can't seem to find any pix of Patrick from back then ...

I don't know if you saw him on Days of our Lives, but he looked the same on SBTB as he did on Days since the timeframe was very close.

Isn't he like, uber gay? Seemed kinda obvious in the movie too...I think casting could have been better, if not from that alone.

shareI don't recall ever having seen him before, but a few minutes into the movie my gaydar went through the roof. Everything he said, the way he said it, everything he did was soooo gay.
shareI think that he lost weight...and it doesnt' suit him at all.....when he was on days...he was all filled out and everything...
but when he was on another movie...that I've seen him on....not this one...but another chrsitmas movie...he had lost a lot of weight.....and it seemed to age him a lot...
when he was back on days a few years ago......he was the same......he never should have lost the weight that he did.......
sorry to sound so mean...but...I find that when actors who are buff loose weight....they really do not look as good..and age way too fast....it's the same with people that I know in real life.......

some of my faves were on it.....twice in a life time.....little men..flipper.....
although I kind of liked the first year with flipper better....with Jessica alba and all that.......
