And look up 'In my father's den' on the search page. It has been edited by nearly two minutes.. apparently because the producers wanted a 15 certificate. This sucks, I won't watch it on DVD now. Either I get to see the film in full as the director intended, or not at all. Does anyone else agree with this??
The cut two minutes is really not integral to the story at all. All that you miss out is gorgeous Matthew Macfadyen in black flirting with a girl at the bar and then having kinky sex for two minutes(Hmmm..) But if you don't see it in the theatres for that two minutes, then you would miss out not only 90 minutes of gorgeous Macfadyen on screen but also all the beauty of one of the most powerful and beautiful films you've seen in years! The music is haunting; the cinematography is fantastic; the script is unbelievably well-written; directing and acting is more than perfect. Trust me! You still want to see this film at the theatre.
