For your information,

The director of this brilliant film has recently announced publically that he has cancer. It's sounds pretty serious. Apparently he had it before 'den', but then it went into remission. Now it is back with a vengeance.

I rate In My Father's Den as my favourite NZ film, and i've seen many. I hope he is able to pull through and go on and make more.

Was very sorry to hear Brad mcGann has cancer. I hope he gets well real soon. He is a brillant director. 'In my fathers den' is a superb movie. His choice of MATTHEW MCFADYEN to play 'Paul Prior' was perfect. Matthew done the film justice. He was brillant. Get well soon Brad mcGann and make some more great movies. God Bless you

Sadly Brad McGann has died of his battle with cancer.

I really liked this movie, think it was really moving. I knew nothing about NZ movies before this one. Do you know about other NZ movies that are worth watching ?
