If Kenny would've called the police and told them he was worried that is friends smoked pot. Then Spenny would go to jale for possesion for a month or so. That would really have made the audience excited about season 6.

It's not legal, it's decriminalized. If you're carrying less than 1/2 oz then you don't get arrested, you get a ticket.
shareAs far as I know, marijuana isn't decriminalized in Canada. When the Paul Martin Liberal government was in power there was some motion to perhaps decriminalize it, but obviously that was put down when the Conservatives were elected. The marijuana laws are very vague, and it seems to me the cops generally don't care much about small-time dealers/the general pot-smoking populace, and focus mainly on trafficking and large grow-ops.
Most Canadians are in favour of legalization.
