This is my favorite movie and it is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, fans of the games open their mouths in rebuke of this movie. If being a gamer makes one have such horrible taste in movies or distaste for awesome movies, I have no intention of being a gamer.

shareThe movie itself as a standalone product, was a decent horror movie.
I am a big fan of the games and I enjoyed this movie. My only nitpicks were the unnecessary gender swap of the main character and unnecessary inclusion of elements from other Silent Hill game entries that had no place in this movie's story line.
Other than that, the movie did justice to the games in terms of the visuals, atmosphere, music, and scare factor.
Silent Hill Revelations on the other hand, is just awful.
I'm a SH game fans and I like this movie so much.
