Not a kid and Liked it

My boyfriend and I are in our 20s and went to see this at the dollar theater in town last night. Both of us had a great time. Sure the movie was cliche and predictable, but it was also lighthearted and funny. It probably helps that we've both been long time Tim Allen fans. But the thing is, we took the movie for what it was meant to be... a fun movie for the kids or the kid in everybody. PLus, the little girl was adorable. Why is everyone so hard on it?

I'm a guy, 18 years old. I just saw it, been holding off all this time because of the 'bad' buzz on the film. And gotta say that I really liked it. But, I'm also a Tim Allen fan so that might have something to do with it. It was a fun movie that was light hearted and definitely a great family film, which it was meant to be. So, yeah- definitely liked it and can't wait until Santa Claus 3
