I'd read bad things and when I heard Smash Mouth in the opening minute, I thought "oh no, that's not a good sign." but it's really not that bad.

I actually laughed out loud at two of Tim Allen's lines which I would not have expected.

Rip Torn is awful but that's the only truly really bad thing I could think of.

I mean, it's a kids movies. And it was pretty entertaining, never boring, and occasionally interesting.

That's more than movies like SuperBabies can claim.

It wasnt a very good movie, but my kids loved it too. When I look at it through a 4 year olds eyes its actually quite cute. I liked how it didnt have any real violence and the language was definately great for a young child. (not many movies even rated G can claim that) Even kids movies have quite a few shut ups and stupids in them. But this one didnt. For adults I would rate this a 1 or 2. For kids a rating of 5-7. Mine made me rewind the running part over and over again
