One of the biggest things that ruined this movie....

Besides more or less being a lame story, and the acting not being the most tremendous in the world, one of the biggest things was Spencer Breslin's character. Actually, I think it was a combination of his character and his acting. His acting wasn't very good, and further, his character was tremendously annoying...even stupid. The things he did, the things he said and the way both of those things were done was awful, to say the least.

Aside of that...what in God's name was the point of his character anyway? The token fat kid? Heck, with the way it's going, in ten years it's going to be the token THIN kid, because by then the majority of the kids are going to be fat. Enough of this "let's feel good on the inside, no matter what you look like on the outside" crap. Being fat isn't funny, but unhealthy, yet that is another subject entirely.

Anyway, just a terrible character and not so great acting (of course, I could just be swayed about his acting because I despised the character so much).
