One funny moment... that is it (spoiler)

When Zoom is running flat out and trips. My friend and I were about to just write this movie off as an all around bad idea done even worse when it happened and we laughed our butts off. The cow thing was kind of cute but not nearly enough to save this misguided attempt at kiddy heroism. Sky High is an oscar winning movie compared to this (although I really love Sky High). It is not that difficult to make a hero flick for children... Sky High, Spy Kids (1,2,3ish), Matilda, Home alone (the kiddie Punisher movie). All these films followed straightforward themes that this movie managed to miss at every turn.

1)Should have lengthened the training time to better bring the group together.
2)The torture of Chevy Chase in the outdoor simulator was so wrong in every way.
3)Mr. Pibb? seriously? Didn't we get enough of this c**p in Space Camp?
4)The weak final battle where Houdini punches the bad guy twice... ineffectively at that, Megaboy sticks his gut out!! Wonder floated (Not threw with any force) rocks at Concussion and that brings us to #5...
5)What was up with courney Cox-Arquette's Rainbow Brite breath? I always thought that Jubilee (however you spell her name) from the X-Men was a minor talent but Rainbow glitter wind?

Just a serious waste of time. I can understand a 8 year old maybe getting into it if you fast forward...alot... other than that though.

If you do fast forward though, watch Zoom fall down. Makes up for alot.

Agreed.

The training sequences all seemed rushed.
They didn't even need Chevy in the sim room scene.
They could have dropped Mr. Pibb and saved $150,000.38 for other stuff.
Weak finale, at most.
And, I just think that Courtney wanted to have a power, so they just handed her one out of an old grocery bag, or something.

The trip was good, however.

"Any last words, punk?"
"Yeah, your wife is good in bed."
"So, you're a liar, too?"

REally? I thought the part where he fell was really stupid, unnecessary, and corny, with all the cartoon noises and stuff. But that's just my opinion.

I said I wasn't going to lose my head, but the POP! goes my heart!

The tripping part made me LOL, but I also laughed at Tim Allen's line, "I left a pause in there for you to fall down." (or something like that) and Courtney Cox is totally offended. Other than that, horrible movie.

Extend the training? I would rather have more development into the enemy... for sh**'s sake he's only in 1 scene and it has a weak 6 minute battle before "becoming one of the family" but he still isn't in the final team it seems?

That part and the "She blows! "Yeaah" part made me laugh a bit, too.

since I work third shifts on certain night I take my portable DVD player cause it's the slowest night and the movies make up for it. Every week when I get paid I look in the 5 dollar bin at walmart. I won't buy anything more than 9. that way I have something new I haven't seen while at work. Well zoom was one of them .. And even though it wasn't the best, It was still entertaining enough for me watch and keep my interest. But yes I have to agree.. when is speeding along and trips.. that took me by suprise and when it happened, I laughed so hard I had to watch it again so rewind and watched it and laughed harder to where I had small tears coming out. I did enjoy the one where chase's character is in the nature survival room and the kids torture him. That was funny..

I agree with everything you just said, except that I laughed a lot more than you did. However, I found most things hilariously ridiculous. Like Cindi's full out bunny pj's.

There were a lot of cringe worthy moments, that I found really amusing, but in an "I can't believe they just did that" kind of funny.

i thought the funniest part was when cindy was in her bunny pajamas and she asks jack if shes different and he says something like "yeah you're different, you're wearing a bunny costume"
