Time I Got Paid For Which Is A Good Reason To Have Done It

Hi.

I worked as an extra on the set of Zoom, and I have to say, in the many years I have done that job, this was the worst set I have ever been on.

It was in a rock quarry, and was below freezing in the morning, turning into an oven during the day, as extras in full military gear ran to and fro, getting yelled at by overworked 50th and 60th ADs.

A bunch of stuff exploded, over and over and over, until it was just right.

I thought that would be cool, but after the first two giant fireballs, the veneer sears off and it becomes tedious.

Chevy Chase started screaming at the helicopter pilot, because he was "afraid of getting his *beep* head cut off" by the blades.

The pilot did a poor job, reassuring Mr. Chase that his head could, in the worst scenario, indeed be cut off.

<An actor throws his arms up in the air, and storms off of the set>

He'll be in his trailer, just give him a minute.

That helicopter sat motionless for almost 2 weeks, at around $10,000 a day just to have on site, let alone turn on.

A few extras got way too into their military roles, and got all macho and started banging things, and yelling, with veins coming out of foreheads and spit flying, almost starting a big fight in background holding.

Actually, that all reads as kind of fun, or at least interesting, but it was all just terrible. You could tell just by being on set that this movie was going to completely suck.

This film had a budget of 70-76 million dollars, and made what, like, 12 million back?

ZOOM!!!!!! to your nearest rental store and pay them to torture you, instead of spending even a single moment of your life incarcerated in watching, hearing about, or reading about this monstrous waste of film.

By the way, I've never watched this movie, and like being born with two penises, I'm guessing it's a good thing.

Geez, the food on set wasn't that good either. I think they went with one of the cheap caterers. Typical!

I once worked in an office, and the boss was a complete ass. She refused to give me a raise, then hired someone with less experience than me and paid them more than I was getting.

What's that? You don't care and find it boring hearing me bitch about my job? Ditto to you, buddy.

Go work as a data entry clerk if you hate your job, and quit clogging up this board whining about it.

It must be tough having no sense of humor.

My comment was regarding the Tim Allen movie Zoom. You're just being offensive.

Pro-Tip: Don't post while on your period.
