If they do make one, it'll be a direct to DVD movie with an entirely different cast but with the exact same story.

I'd have to agree with beetlejuice. I liked this movie a lot but it was nowhere near successful enough to bring a sequel to theaters. A sequel if one comes will be straight-to-DVD and straight-to-Blu-ray like Flicka: Country Pride.
