I really enjoyed it, its silly, happy and a bit different!

I do not get the hate. I love a serious superhero flick as much as the next buff but I also like this a lot. I left my brain off, in order to not pick at every bit and managed to really enjoy it.

Firstly I loved the concept and the originality of having kids of different age and not a bunch of high schoolers which we see so often.
Some of it was a bit dumb admittedly but for me it worked. It felt very child orientated, very much aimed at kids and if you let you inner child out then it will love this film.

My favorite recent super hero film was watchmen which is stunning. But a lot of people found it too serious. This was the opposite, completely light fluff. Sometimes though its nice to see something like this rather than constant crass of adult comedies or the crap romances that make you cringe.

It seems to me that people really want to hate this film instead of just enjoying it... want darkness, grittiness then go watch something else. But for a kids film its brilliant and with some good messages to boot.

I enjoyed it too. A bit cheesey but most kids movies are.

Me too, it's a rather sweet fun fantasy movie with even some action.

The acting was fine enough - intendedly tongue-in-cheek for the adult actors, competent acting by the kids - and so was the writing.

I was a little surprised with the low rating, but hey, one can expect everyting on Imdb. I give it a sure 7.
