i don't care if it's real or not, it's not funny. everything was extremely predictable 10 minutes into the movie.

why are we tricking this guy no one's ever heard of? why should we care? who are his friends? why are his friends completely unfunny, yet are getting to make a movie (real or fake)?

and i'm pretty sure it's fake. jimmy kimmel's involvement with this proves as much. he is, afterall, the man behind the completely untalented andy milonakis' fame, another fake.

the only funny part was that the limo driver's name was travis bickle. gave me a laugh.

I don't think "predictable" is quite the label you're looking for. Yes, the basis of the movie is that they're pulling a prank on this guy, which they tell you right at the beginning of the movie. What else were you expecting?

Also, the fact that you would laugh out loud at a Taxi Driver reference (but not anything else in the movie) pretty much says everything about your sense of humor.

actually "predictable" is perfect, as it was fairly obvious that it would be a crappy movie that his completely humorless friends would sabotage (nice wig on barbieri by the way). wow look at that, perry has to do the bad stunts several times, very funny bobcat. i'm sure it hasn't been done on SNL before. here comes the sex scene, boy i don't know what will happen next! oh, you mean perry won't get to do it?? wow! his reactions weren't even funny to any of these shenanigans. he yelled like sam kennison, and 5 minutes later, he was back to normal. yawn. considering the ONLY humor in this movie is based on what perry does in response to everything, it's a pretty horrible attempt at humor.

the fact that the only thing that made me laugh is a travis bickle reference proves just how awful this movie is. but i'm not 14, so i guess i'm too old for this.

You may not be 14, my guess would 50's, but you just don't have the sense of humor that is required for this movie. Let me guess at what else you don't find funny; The Man Show, MXC, or anything with Adam Sandler. (The Sandler thing would include me as well, but I do like MXC and Man Show.)Sure the movie is a one joke setup, but that's not the point. The point is to see the frustration consume Perry because he is trying to be a serious actor and the world seems to be against him. If you like it or don't like it, it doesn't matter. Just don't come to a board filled with people who enjoyed the thing and call us 14 year olds.

the man show is 10x more brilliant than this garbage. mainly because of adam carolla, a comedic GENIUS. i like kimmel, but all of his projects have been awful. sandler is atrocious, and MXC is just as horrible.

It wasnt meant to be suspenseful you deusche. It's a comedy. If you dont like this you have no sense of what funny is. Eat a bullet will ya?

WCH IS SIMPLY THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN ON TV OR IN A MOVIE THEATRE

the purest, most brilliant concept, the perfect "cast," - - an all-time immortal classic
