Maybe that's one reason.

Might make the top 2500, but wouldn't bet on it.

I think the realistic answer is because it's:

(1) formualic

(2) cliche

(3) ludicrous

(4) insulting to any military member

(5) insulting to anyone with any computer knowledge

(6) insulting to anyone who has even a passing notion of piloting and aircraft design

(7) crappy writing

(8) crappy dialogue

(9) wooden acting

I'm sure I missed a few; at best, it could be a ham-and-cheese guilty pleasure, but no one would ever mistaken this for even mediocre filmmaking.
