John C. Reilly is the best rental agent ever. Rental agents are the biggest slime bags ever next to car salesmen; and he hits the performance on the head. I watch this flick just to watch him, although I will say it's an over all solid film.

I think my favorite scene with him is when he calls out to the couple, "I'll be right back!" and they look behind themselves to see if someone is following them. Dahlia doesn't see it, but the audience is cued in that there is no one else coming to look at the apartment and he's doing his level best to close the deal with subtle high-pressure tactics.

shareReilly is one of those actors that even if the movie he's in isn't very good (not citing Dark Water as an example; I'm just generalizing a bit), he's still pretty good. One of those actors I like; he seems genuine in every performance. Granted, I haven't seen every movie he's done, so I'm most likely at least partially wrong about him...
