I really like this movie, do you think Davids wife knew that he had multiple personality disorder before she died or did her cheating lead to the disorder? Charlie says that he would have satisfied her, so I'm guessing David didn't take much notice of her and she ended up cheating, did he kill her that night or was there time in between I just want to know what people think of the back story?
1) It's implied that him catching her cheating was what triggered the disorder. Although, I don't know if that's possible in real life.
2) The "Satisfying her" comment was mainly to mess with him (CHARLIE must've known EMILY would tell him that). But maybe there were problems in their marriage that led to the cheating.
3) Because of the look on his face (the same one he had when he saw her in the stairs), I'm sure he killed her that night.
