If they hate the house?

I was surprised that I couldn't find this topic, but what happens if they full on hate the place?
I saw a flashback from a previous episode where one of the families was talking about a previous family hating the house and I haven't seen it before so I don't know what they did. (Wow, that was a run-on sentence. Sorry!)

I saw one episode where a mother & grown daughter had their house 'cleaned' and the mom went nuts as soon as she walked thru the front door. Admittedly the paint color they chose was BOLD (orange I think) but she did not even attempt to be gracious about it. She hated the furniture and wanted it put back the way it was. She embarrassed ME! It was sad for the daughter.
