Great Film!!!

Dunno which planet the people who hated Slipstream are from but where I live (Planet Earth) we think films like this are great. I saw it at the London Sci-Fi Festival and the audience response was amazing. Afterwards there was a real buzz as people filed out of the cinema and everybody was talking about how much they'd enjoyed it afterwards. I see that the director David van Eyssen has been awarded the Best New Director for Slipstream from the committee and audience votes from the festival against some strong competition. According to the website they are presenting the award next week at BAFTA the British Academy Of Film and Television who also loved the film so maybe some of you people should think again.Let's face it you got it wrong eh?

reply

No, we did not get it wrong. The movie was just bad. If slow motion and rotating cameras are all it takes to win a BAFTA then the British film scene is in as horrible predicatment as Brits think it is.

reply

Absolutely horrible. Seems like they spent about a week making this film and just hacked it out the door. If you're going to make a timetravel movie, it should be a hell of a lot more thought out than that piece of crap.
