I would think pays alot. I've never lived in Nyc or Brooklyn but I have heard its expensive. The apartment was also pretty nice.
I thought about that as well! I mean, if her mum couldn't even hold down a baking job for more than six months, how in the world would they be able to afford it? Brooklyn is pretty expensive, so that's sort of weird, I think.

shareFor a start you don't have to be rich to have nice clothes. And second i am in a single parent sistuation it's just me and my mum, and i dont live in nyc but thats not the point. We live in a brand new appartement and just beacuse she is a single parent dosent mean she can't afford anything. She may not be rich but they may have a bit of money. You shouldnt assume things like this beacuse she is a single parent. Its not fair to everyone out there who is a single parent or (like me) has a single parent.

Here in the Uk if you wait long enough alot of clothes get reduced to such low low low prices you can get a whole new wardrobe even if you're on Benefits...
Catalogues most of them you can pay up to a £1 a week £2 for more expensive things...
