Adam and Amy

Lol, I mean, it's not like he's supposed to be the most popular guy in the school for the movie to be credible, but the whole movie, he was NEVER seen talking to/or being talked to by anyone at all, besides Holly. Did this guy even exist? Maybe it was just her imagination, because even her other friend, Amy never acknowledged him or anything. The only people who actually interact with him through the movie are Holly and her mom, and little sister. And what happened to Amy at the end, anyway? She was never seen after the restaurant incident

HAHA! I didn't notice that until you said something but you are totally right. Hmmmm maybe they were all a figment of her imagination.

I soooo noticed that and always wondered why! Like he didn't talk to ANYONE else or that time at the lunch table he was all by himself. Maybe cuz he was weird and into drawing strange pictures of people...

Ifn you look at the deleted scenes on the dvd is shows amy sayin that adam is 'totally ceckin holly out'

reply

Yes, but he never really interacts with anybody. Maybe he was just a loner.

If I were Hilary i would of went out with Someone who a bit more friends and a bit more of a social life than Adam. He was cute though.

There is a scene in the school gym (they are in gym clothes) and they are sitting on opposite sides. He's sitting with a couple of other boys and he's chatting with them, while she's sitting chatting with Amy. So I guess he wasn't totally friendless.

It felt like when Holly came to town, the whole world revolved around her. I noticed she was incredibly selfish with both Adam and Amy and used them to help her.

The OP is a complete idiot...How bout the classroom scene??? Where the teacher asks him a question. Adam answers it followed by like three more questions....

The whole world didnt revolve around her. She was helping her mom. Yes to stay there which was kind of selfish but not really. People want to settle and have friends and actually know what is going to happen. They want to plan things like dances and dates and such. If their parents are always moving them because they get their hearts hurt think of how that really affects the child. She wasnt selfish. She was friends with both of them. Yes she had them help but they also wanted to because they didnt want to lose Holly. They wanted to help her help her mom get settled in one place. She didn't seem selfish to me too much. She just knew what she wanted and went for it. What's the harm in that?? NOTHING!
