I had about 10 whilst watching it, my lovely Sobranie pastel coloured cocktail cigs. A perfect accompaniment to a wonderful film :) Now bring on the coffee!

Haha I was just thinking what torture this film must be for people who have just given up smoking, or for those that watched it in a non-smoking place!
I got through 3 during the movie, on the 4th now as its just finished.
Depends if you're just a non-smoker or an anti-smoker;)
I think it would be worst for the anti-smoker... I ,as a non-smoker, have
no problem at all watching this film;) (PS.. I don't drink coffee either,
but I do drink a buttload of tea)

Well, I'm a big fan of "coffee and cigarettes" in real life, so it was hard not to want one when seeing them.
But I didn't drink any coffee. I didn't have any when I watched it.
I did crave one but didn't smoke. Occasionally, yes...only cloves.
I should've had coffee however, since I fell asleep about halfway through the film and never finished...not that it was bad or awful. Just isn't one of my personal favorites of Jarmusch films. Perhaps I need to give it another try...with coffee.

LOL I just quit smoking before watching this film so it was a little more than just "torture". It was like hell :D but stil, great movie.

anyways back to the topic.. me 5 cigs, my homie 4 cigs, me my homie and his girl alllll 24 ozs of coffee and bottle of jack daniels goneeeeeeeee..... all in a hotel room gettin geeked off this movie, masterpiece of directing, bombass experience props to jim... 9 cigs total, 3 big cups of coffee, bottle of jack daniels, experience = priceless
