Classic tragedies, especially operas, usually come full circle. I was so disappointed that it ended with Melinda in a straightjacket. I was expecting the keys in Lee's bathroom to be Cassie's, and then Melinda to start an affair with Cassie's husband (her attorney). That would have fit the tragedy theme much more than just "she's too helpless, let's commit her"...
