What kind of friend doesn't find out the truth?

I know if that were my friend, I'd find out why she did it. I thought that was bs! I mean, they were best friends. I don't think a young teen girl would call the cops for nothing at a party where everyone was drinking. She's not an idiot. And then, rachel talks about her behind her back on the bus like melinda was the scum of the earth. It's a party. Get over it. I mean, rachel could see that she was balling and she did have good reason to call the cops. Rachel was a bitch and if I were melinda I might have never talked to her again after doing that to me at the party and most of the school year. I did feel bad for rachel at the end, though in a way.
