The eventual bill fight was such a let down !
After two films it was such a let down the actual fight with bill ... christ they didn't even have to stand up during the so called fight !

If i recall he made the first move by striking out with his sword ! ... He surely would killed her if she didn't dodge / deflect it,
Doesn't strike me as someone who didn't want to kill her,

She ninja kicked him in his face part them blammo with the five finger death punch right in his weiner, and it was awesome. He dropped dead man, taken out suckas got served.

Yes, but it was her who announced it's finally time to start a fight -- by saying "You and I have unfinished business" and getting her sword ready. And at this moment she was perfectly ready and waiting for him to attack her -- and he knew she was ready. So he knew she would certainly deflect his first strike. share
He may also have purposely pointed his sword towards the sheath Beatrix was holding. Thereby, purposely giving in to his defeat. Bill's intent during that whole scene is really up for debate, but regardless, I still find it somewhat disappointing on a pure entertainment level that the two only fight for approximately 20 seconds before the Bride gets the draw on him.
shareIf that had been the case, couldn't he tried to have talked Beatrix out of it or negotiated more time, just to test out the 'family life' just a little longer, so the daugher would have a father in her life just a little bit longer?
It's kind of mad how he reacted, with all his regret and all. Also, couldn't Beatrix have relented a little bit under the circumstances? Shouldn't anyone have been tired of killing and murdering at that point, after all that? She already had her daughter, which was a big reason for the revenge in the first place, so what did she really gain by killing an old man that could've been a good father to her daughter?
