Did you want her to kill Bill?

Bill had been this villain that needed to be destroyed all throughout the saga, we wanted her to reach her main target and to avenge herself on him.

But, he ends up being nice and hospitable and the little girl in alive and he welcomes her in and they get to enjoy being parents and seeing how great the kid is, he admits what he did and they each explain why they did what they did. They just humanized him so much and had him be this teddy bear dad who seemed to regret what he had done to her (Uma) and seemed like he had no more ill will towards her and intended her no more harm.

It kind of left you wondering if she was still wanting to kill him but then of course they had their fatal battle.

Were you still rooting for Bill to be killed or no?

Agreed that there were some redeeming qualities about Bill. In particular when he called off the second attempt on her life at the hospital when she was in a coma. However, with everything he did, I would still vote for taking his life.

That was a stupid thing to do, though, as he signed his own death warrant, basically. If he hadn't stopped that particular murder, he wouldn't have been murdered by Beatrix. Then there wouldn't have been a movie, of course, though.

Yes. David Carradine was great and made Bill into a compelling character to watch. But Bill was an absolute monster and he deserved to die.

Bill kinda proved, though, that Beatrix was also an absolute monster. Just because she has a daughter, murdering tons of people and feeling good about it leaves no other choice. Why should Bill IN PARTICULAR have to be murdered, when Beatrix is no better?

At least Bill expressed regret, remorse, good parenting and human emotions in the movie. Did Beatrix regret any of the murders?

My point is, both are monsters, both have done horrible things, both have 'murder in their blood', so they might as well have lived as a family and forgotten the past and forgiven each other and tried to get alone for the daughter's sake. But no, the 'revenge plot of the other monster' is more important than forgiveness, family and what would've been best for the daughter and frankly, everyone.
