Whaahh??????(a few spoils)

I really dont get what everybodys talking about....this movie had nothing to do with or any revelence to "The Ring" or "The Grudge". Why cuz theres a WELL...Cuz theres spooky looking creatures? That the Kids were grey uuummm well if ya look closely youll notice that every thing thats dead or ghostly in almost all movies are usualy GREY! Wow is that where to horror gener has come to..I thought this movie was awsome! It did at first seem like it was gonna have a "Children Of The Corn" feel to it but i felt that was quickly dispelled. I was kind cool to set it back in that time era and the atmosphere was definitely the strongest point. The Acting was very good and >No Heros< thats what made this movie the Bomb. If "Lions Gate" got ahold of this one it would have surely took off. Now I liked "The Ring" and "The Grudge" but anybody who looks at movies from now on and has to compare everything that comes out to them really has to go back and see a few movies in the past. Like "Legend Of Hell House"(the original) or the "Haunting"(the original and even "Ghost Story" And get their heads straight on good ghost, or haunted movies. then go from there youll have a fresher perspective on future horror flix as long as these directors and writers can put out decent material without brain washing everybody with the same wishwash..
Oh by the way before ya start bashing me dont get the wrong idea Im by no means comparing this movie to any of the classics mentioned above. Im just saying that it seems that everybodys forgotten how to let a good scary movie to sink in and take controle of them. When you can do that then your not wasting money or time sitting there picking appart a film you could actually be enjoying...........
