This movie really wasn't good at all. It was a weak story built around ghosts/monsters/scary effects. I collect horror/supernatural movies. Anybody who is a die-hard horror/supernatural movie fan should skip this film. If you are not, you MIGHT enjoy it. If you are younger or scare easy, then chances are you will enjoy it. I will say, I am a fan of a few of the actors, but even they couldn't change the fact that the script sucked. What a disappointment.
shareI thought it was a very STRONG movie. Any TRUE horror fan knows that this is a cool scary flick. Check out toolbox murders if you want to see a really WEAK horror movie. That sucked.
shareI agree. I found it to be a very weak movie as well. The material was there, and the film has much in common with the latest Japanese horror films with regard to style, especially how the demons look (see The Grudge), but somehow it doesn't quite come together. It seems too predictable, and the characters inspire very little empathy..but then that's just my opinion.
Eradicate all worovites!
The script was somewhat weak and the camera work was quite lazy. However the story I found to be very original and the acting was great. So overall I enjoyed it.
