As a woman of similar age to R&T I love the clothes they wear...after years of having to dress "smartly" for work, I have now gone very casual and live in similar clothes to Rosemary...even when not gardening!
The series makers were very clever in choosing the clothes, as even now they don't really look dated...well done to R&T for being great role models for us "mature ladies".
I was afraid of sounding trivial if I said that one of the things I love about the show is Rosemary's clothes! I have wondered if they've meant for the stunning vivid colors that Rosemary wears to be a counterpart to the lush colors of the the flowers they show in the gorgeous English gardens that are featured. It's as if she sort of embodies the beauty of the flowers herself, a form of kinship.

sharedon't hate because you wouldn't look good in rosemary's clothes, Hey if she still has a nice figure for it why not? What do you want her to wear a hospital gown or mumu? For the record she doesn't dress like a teenager, she just dresses very nice and casual and it fits her so stop hating.
