What do you think would have happened to the kids had the movie continued? What I'm thinking is that there was no crime until they buried the body, screwing themselves over. Now, I think they still won't get jail time (except for Marty), but does anyone else have any thoughts?

This is a pretty vengeful country, so probably 10-20 years in prison. A few days ago an emotionally disturbed 12 year old stabbed a 9 year old and they are going to try him as an adult.

Yeah, but Marty is the one to run away from it all. Rocky is a case of involuntary manslaughter, and may get leniency due to his being a minor.
shareMarty was sent to prison. I feel he was probably raped in there just like he said he would be. When he got out he probably turned into an alcoholic and eventually committed suicide.
Rocky turned into a junkie. Millie moved far away and was able to rebuild her life from her parents money. Sam was killed in a freak accident, like getting run over by a car or bus. Clyde turned to prostitution in the gay scene. Probably abused drugs and never recovered from the incident.

Recently watched the movie and wondered the same thing. Obviously Marty would get jail time for the armed robbery and coming up with the foolish plan to bury George. Don't think anyone else would get jail time except maybe Rocky since he's older and knocked George over the boat which resulted in his death.
