I miss this show..

Too bad season 2 was such a letdown but the concept was genius..

David Hornsby "Hutch" has done ok since. A few failed sitcoms, but he's a producer and sometimes actor on Always Sunny and Unsupervised. Plus he's married to "Bones" Deshanel. I'll never forget him as Hutch though.

Well, the new season has started and they have gone back to what made season one so good. Season two was terrible but this season has been good so far.

reply

oh, it's actually aired already? I knew it was coming back, but I didn't know it started yet. I'll have to start recording it. edit: Looks like I missed first few episodes but the Spike website has them both. I'm gonna watch them now, thanks for reminding me of this, I completely forgot. I always love when cancelled shows are brought back, especially if it's been this long.

reply

No problem. (I actually responded wondering if you knew it started already, hoping you might see this if not). Spike has been rerunning the first two episodes a lot so you might be able to catch all three at some point this week before episode 4 starts.

reply

Agreed, they've had repeats galore, catching up should be no problem for anyone.

And I liked the second season, for a number of reasons, even if it wasn't as good as the first. There were some truly great moments in that season, including the coupon book scenario (and the perfect O of Tim's mouth as it's unfolding around him) and just about everything involving Bryce.

reply

Yeah, I love season 2 also, just not as much. I actually think Ralph Garman was funnier on season 2 though.

reply

He was quite funny. Even now, when he starts the eviction ceremony, I can't help but expect him to burst out with "Love. It's why we're all here."
