Second eviction? They screwed it up....
Somehow they thought a second eviction allowing Chase to send someone home would strengthen his faith in the "reality" of the show. This makes ZERO sense to me. If anything, it would cause more suspicion in his mind. Why?
Here's why:
1) It came out of nowhere and thus made little sense.
2) Of course Chase is the one to evict someone. That alone should raise a red flag - he's already won the master bedroom suite because his name was "picked out of a hat before the show started"....then, he was "randomly" chosen to be chained to the one convict alone...who then was the one to make a run for freedom....
3) Everyone has been coming to Chase for "relationship" advice....
All that added up (particularly #2) makes it seem more like Chase is the center of the show. So making him the guy to evict someone because he "raised his hand first" is way too suspicious.
On top of it all, he evicts RANDY who is the funniest actor in the cast. And Randy even explained how necessary it was to have "the guy that people hate" versus the loveable hero in the finale. That's what made the first season that much better.
But the "Plan B" they had was to have Chico bring someone back...I figured he'd just bring back Randy. But instead they bring back Lorenzo who's supposed to be what Randy has been, I guess. Bleh. Stupid.
So the whole point of that second eviction gets thrown out the window and we lose Randy for the rest of the show. Brilliant. Way to screw it up.
