Very strong finish to a horribly edited show.
I "get" that there might not have been as much behind the scenes/house interaction stuff as the producers might have anticipated (Chase seemed pretty focused throughout), but the solution to the problem was not cheesy editing tricks that the audience could spot from a mile away. I know that other reality shows will air things out of sequence, but the way that it was done was incredibly amateur hour this season.
What the producers SHOULD have done is what they did at the finale. Explore more of Chase's backstory and let the audience know more about him.
The only way that JS works, is if the auidence cares about the Schmo and are rooting for him/her to win. The producers instead went the other direction and basically tried to embarass Chase throughout and make him look like a total idiot by seeing how much they could get away with. They also did everything they could to create elaborate backstories for the actors... without ever really digging into who the Schmo was.
