Being they have the cast, and the script, and it's only over the course of 10 days, and most of the actors don't have a busy schedule...why not record it like 10 times with 10 different Schmo's?
If the ratings were bad they would at least have a filler show.

I don't think may people would be interested in watching the same scenario over and over again. However, I've always wondered why they didn't film 3 or more seasons before showing them. It would be cool to see the same actors play vastly different characters with different Schmos. Especially the ones from Season 1.
Could you imagine Kip playing a rapper or Hutch as a devoted Christian?

shareThat would cost them too much money and reality shows are made to be super cheap. Filming 5 times (2.5 months at least) to shoot one 10 episode run, wouldn't logistically work. There's probably a reason they went so long between season 2 and season 3. They needed the perfect scenario, perfect mark, perfect storyline. Also, I'd think they'd talk about, too. They've show footage from the failures to prove the difficulty of the show's concept.
