The Biggest Thing Keeping This Show From Being A Bust Has Been

Ralph Garman. I feel like without him Chase would have totally figured it out. I mean, I don't think he'll be all that surprised that it's fake from what I've seen, but I just feel like Garman's acting this whole time has kept him thinking that maybe it's still real. What do you think?

reply

Absolutely. He wants to believe because it's obvious he really wants to be a bounty hunter, and Ralph is totally keeping him in it.

lol, poor naive viewers of this show, Chase has known this is fake from day one, I can always spot acting, and Chase is acting.

Then what the heck is the point of this show?

reply

No chance Mech. Think about it. The actual professional actors on this show are horrible so how did they find this guy who is not an actor and get him to act better than all of the professionals that they hired?

I have thought from the beginning of season one that If I was on the show and I suspected that it was a put on that I would personally just play along. Why would you want it to end? If anything just to see what will happen. After all, it is kind of a vacation for the schmo. If all of this crazy stuff was happening to me, I would think it was a riot.
Ralph Garman is definitely the highlight of the show, and has some of the funniest lines. I believe he might be too recognizable now though. That is, unless they filmed season 4 right after season three which would be the smart thing to do if they want to keep the series going. After all, filming only lasts for 10 days, which brings up another issue that I have with the show. I don't think that I would have such an emotional reaction after such a short period of time. Then again, I'm sure it has to be a mindbender if you were in fact believing everything was real.
I think it is a great show, and I hope they continue, but they do need to make it a little more believable for the person they are trying to fool.

Garman's great. Comic timing and comebacks were pretty funny, but he was also kind of believable as a bounty hunter.

I'm a seeker too. But my dreams aren't like yours...

I think Ralph made the show. It helped that our schmo wanted to belive it was all real. They had some weak actors in this season though. The fake deaf gal was the worst.
