Ther one thing that REALLY should have tipped Matt off...
Molly, the super-christian, had breast implants. How could he not notice?

shareMolly also didn't have any problem showing herself off, left her boyfriend's picture behind, and seemed all around non-virgin. I would have thought she was lying. Now I don't know how that would lead me to believe, "This whole show must be fixed!" That's where everyone is being stupid. Who would ever think everything is fixed because someone has implants? You'd simply think the person was lying.
If you're out there, Angela, I apologize- but your character wasn't very believable. I think, however, that Matt is a *very* trusting guy who is willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
i agree. the whole time i was watching it, i couldn't get over how fake her boobs were and how tiny her *2-piece* bathing suits always were, while she was supposed to be not only a virgin, but so religious. it didn't fit at all. it wasn't angela's fault though, just bad wardrobe and casting jobs, i think.
pepper's right though, you wouldn't think everything around you must be fake because of that. unless you're *super* paranoid.
I'm always really confused when people make these comments. Just because a woman is hot and shows off her body, it doesn't automatically mean she doesn't have an intact hymen (and isn't a virgin). Conversely, there are many average looking women who dress conservatively and have a "number" as high as ants in a sandbox. Don't judge a book by its cover the saying goes...
Also, being a virgin can strictly be a technical issue. You can technically still be a virgin and be a sensual and/or "sexual" person. Just one who hasn't actually put their thoughts into action. Clothes really don't make the (wo)man. So a sensual hot "Christian" woman who wants to wait until marriage for sex is not outside the realm of possible. Happens certainly.
Now that said, it does become an issue when virginity becomes part of the "religious" realm, as many who chose this path due to religion ARE conservative in general. Think of Muslim women who practice hijab.
But then this wouldn't make good TV. It was way more hilarious to see Matt play twister with a smokin hot half naked "virgin" than if she was dressed in a burka. This whole set up is what made the show...what is too obvious in either direction for the character (too conservative could also look fake) and what will Matt still believe if the limits are pushed?? It's TV folks. I liked Angela's character, and think she did great.
Wasn't that the point? The characters were supposed to be over the top. Kip? That's about as over the top as it gets. Molly wasn't supposed to ACT like a religious virgin. It's funnier if she says she's highly religious and a virgin, but parades around in a bikini and acts sexual. That's the joke.
shareEVERYTHING about the show was supposed to be over the top. When I auditioned for the show, I was given the option to audition for either Molly or Ashley. I figured my accent would help me appear more innocent, therefore I honed in in the Molly role. They could have put my character in one piece swimsuits, but they didn't.... this was all for a reason... keep in mind that we LIVED with MATT and had to stay in character sometimes 16 hours a day, so there were a lot of story lines being built that didn't end up on the show. My character was essentially coming out of her shell while on the show. In the original story line, Molly was supposed to lose her virginity to Hutch while in the house and only be in like 4 episodes. Once we got into the house with Matt, the story line that was all planned out changed everyday, depending upon Matt's reactions to certain situations. It was a very high pressure situation for him. He thought he was competing for $100,000 and was surrounded by cameras and strangers. The point I'm trying to make is that my implants were probably the last thing on Matt's mind! I'm glad you liked the show though! xoxo
shareI really liked the first season. The 'fake' disgusting food eating contest was the highlight, and one that I occasionally show to people. It was very well acted by all you guys. Take care Angela.
