I Know none of the other friends cast appeared in Joey, but were they ever even mentioned?

In the first episode, Gina tells Joey that LA had a very vibrant gay scene and that he and Chandler should have moved there ages ago, to which Joey replies 'Chandler and I are not a gay couple!'. Joey later mentions that he'd only said 'I love you' to one girl before and that she was pregnant with his best friend's baby and ended up with him. There's also a picture of Joey and Chandler in the apartment and Joey still has Huggsy.
