Better than Friends!

I have no idea why people dislike this show so much. They wrongfully compare it to Friends or other shows they like, which I agree is one accurate way of ranking something, but it's still a unfair competition. Joey was new and a bit careful, the writers probably did everything they could to not anger fans of Friends and ease the transition to this spin-off. In spite of this people still insist on comparing this show to Friends.

Thus I have to say, when I compare Joey to Friends, Joey wins!
Joey has the same comedy as Friends, same cutscenes and similar music and is a sitcom with lovable characters and witty writing, but the jokes are funnier! It's much more fresh, which I agree that on Friends best day they both held up real good.

I just finished watching all 10 seasons of Friends, so what I'm saying is truly accurate. Some jokes make me vomit out of boredome while others (mostly Ross's interactions) make me laugh til my sides hurt.

Joey does the same, 'nough said. Like this show for what it is and realize you got something for free which others worked really hard to create and make it likeable, while it still got raged due to it being a spin-off of a very popular show.
