WHAT HAPPENED
why did they canceled Joey??. I thought it was pretty good. Good things!
shareLow ratings. That's what the business is all about after all. It is a shame they didn't give it more time though.
shareThey canceled Joey because that show was boring as hell.
share I agree it made Friends look bad seriously..... it was total crap
We can DO IT ALLLL DAY LONG, (We'll have to pay more for the light bill if we do it at night!)
If you guys remember, Joey season 1 did ok with its ratings, but season 2 NBC didn't really support. They kept changing the time and day the show was on so fans had to keep guessing. And I remember that the last 2 episodes where just thrown on, they wheren't even advertised on NBC at all as a new day and time.
Then NBC canceled Joey because of low ratings. Maybe if they didn't play games with the show it would have done better.

WAH WAH WAH!
sharei dont know why its rating is less then 6 whereas if u see every single episode has 7 and above rating. i didnt found any single episode less than 7 rating.
shareconspiracy?
shareTwo reasons:
1. Not many people have rated TV episodes on IMDB as opposed to the full show page.
2. People who watched the show and hated it probably won't go through the trouble of rating every single individual episode whereas people who did like the show are more likely to find the time to rate every episode.
I really liked joey , canceling this show was a dumb idea by NBC , at least they could make a few more episodes to finish the show with logic , not to cancel it without giving a clue what will happen next :(
shareWhat I remember reading somewhere at the time was: NBC was paying LeBlanc a ton of
money to do the show, thinking it would be a huge spinoff hit like "Frasier". When "Joey" proved to be only moderately successful, the network wanted rid of it, which explains why they buried the series in season 2.
I wish I had a link, but I don't. Makes sense though so it's probably accurate.
