I don't usually drool over him, but I found him incredibly SEXY in this role.
Especially in the scene with his friend's x-girl friend on the pool table. I think it was a mix of the music and the way he moved, but .....WOW

Never thought anyone else could play Alfie.
Jude is definitely awesome in this role! He's handsome, very charming and hot as well.

I will have to agree with most of you. It's odd really, I didn't truly see a Jude Law film until The Holiday, and then I ended up really thinking that Jude had a sort of charm about him. Then I saw Closer, which I know came way before The Holiday, but I hadn't gotten the chance to see it yet. And even though his character had his flaws, he was still strangely appealing. And now, after seeing Alfie, I have a full-blown crush on him(which can't break my heart, since actors are practically un-attainable). He is exactly that, Prof. Paola, "painfully gorgeous."

I love the scene when he was playing pool with Lonette and the way he looked at that girl who said "tell me what people see in this Euro trash" in the nightclub. He is SO HOT and the perfect person to play this role. So sexy!
