Do British people find American accents sexy?
Sort of like how people think the grass is greener on the other side. Or they don't?

In my experience, no, they actually find them harsh and off-putting for the most part, especially the southern and New York style accents.
Those who say it can not be done should not interrupt those doing it...
in small doses yeah it's attractive. america is the IT place so it appeals to your ego. that is, if youre intimate with the person in question. however after a while it gets super irritating haha.
stay until Wednesday and write me a childlike letter pretending

I am American and have met quite a few British people in my life (never been there though). I have never been complimented on my accent and even when I dated one, my accent never came up (whereas i adored her english accent).
Also, an American friend moved to London when he was 8 years old. He said all of the other kids were fascinated by his American accent.
So, in my limited experience, it seems that British kids find american accents more intersting than British adults do.
You're completely right. When you're young the accent and America in general is really cool and everyone dreams of going there! But when you're older America and the accent becomes rather irritating.
shareI've met quite a few British men who all liked the way I spoke. And I'm from New Jersey lol but I don't have a strong accent. I enjoy accents.
shareWell... I am a *ahem* telephone actress if you get my drift... I have a large client base that is British... also there are several UK based phone entertainment companies that hire American girls because our accents are in demand for their clients.
So.. I would say so :)
Americans don't have accents. We speak un-accented, just the way words are spelled. We don't say "lester" for Leicester and things like that.
