Movie or TV Show?

I was thinking that if Half Life was to be adapted from the game which version would you like it to be in.

Basically I was thinking if it were to be made into a movie you would miss so much, but if they made it into a TV Show/Mini Series type thing then they could go through each Half Life right up until Half Life 2:Episode 2, and have everything.

By the way if they were to adapt it I would love for them to do a straight up adaption and not create some different script and storyline.

If done right it could be the next Star Wars or LoTR..sad part is that its a long ass shot.
If it was made into a show it WOULD give them a chance for more info,the problem with a show however is the budget...which isn't normally the best.
The problem with a movie is that no director would have the balls to take up a big project like Half-Life and actually make it good...so..

Im ok with it being a game for now ^__^
