how do you beat chapter 3 in the 360 version
the part where you're in a room with a lot of explosives and another room filled with water

I've not played the 360 version, but I can't imagine it's too different from the PC version. In the water-filled part you have to jump down several pipes until you come to a valve. Opening the valve will let more water fill in (both sides of the room). Then go back to the explosives side and go down the hatch in the floor, and swim through a large pipe on the opposite wall. Oh, and there are LOADS of manhacks in that section!

What I'd of given for a gravity gun back then, I'm guessing you can grab manhacks and launch them off the walls and each other? Because I can see no other thing I'd like to do to them.

Yeah, you can do that. In fact they appear again in Anticitizen One or something don't they? I know they come back after you get the gravity gun, and it's SO rewarding to slam them into a wall! :p
Another point with the manhacks: in the room just before you first get introduced to them there are two explosive barrels. If you keep one and carry it with you, you can put it next to the door the manhacks burst through, and shoot it with the pistol once. Then just as they come in you shoot the barrel twice more and bang! All the manhacks are gone! :D
Mmm, there was some in Nova Prospekt and I'm currently in Anticitizen One, I tried my GG on them but it didn't have any real effect, the shotgun pretty much lays waste to them anyway, but it'd be good to actually start launching them at people. Any tips or am I just a thumbless spas as I've always suspected?

Well you can grab them with the gravity gun can't you at least? Once they're in the GG's hold you can fire them directly into enemies to kill them. I've done that several times.
