I care a lot about these half life game stories then .... most others so if this is to become a movie FOR THE LOVE OF.... keep these people away from it:

Uwe Boll, Paul Andersson (unless he doesn't get to write the script, he did good with event horizon), micheal bay, roland emerich.

actually the guy who made the latest predators movie made a great service to that franchise. give him a shot at it.

They've received so many offers, screenplays, etc and they've turned every one down without hesitation. Valve actually cares about preserving the story. I'd be very surprised if any Half-Life movie was made that wasn't handled by them personally.
