The Hills Have Eyes

and I disagree with PI at least this made "I know who killed me" look good.

Pulse remake (on a par with Captivity as one of the worst 'mainstream' horror movies I have ever seen).

The Fog remake (Highly recommended for insomniacs).

Darkness Falls

The Wicker Man remake (was there any point to this?)

The Grudge 2 (I really wanted to like this movie and I was enjoying the first half, but then it just all went downhill. What a waste of Amber Tamblyn).

House of Wax (waste of time. The only highlight was Paris Hilton's death - although I would have preferred it to have been more prolonged and painful).

The messengers 2007 (terribly boring rated pg? how scary could it have been)

Prom Night (2008)
When a Stranger Calls (2008)
One Missed Call (both, actually, all of them!)
The second part of "It"

Can't think of others... but there are WAY MORE!

This movie was bad, but at least it entertained me for a while, I didn't fall asleep, which was good.

Prom Night, The Hitcher, and House of Wax were not bad.

You're just being a douches b/c you think you're Soo cool and can't wath re-makes that people like.

But I do agree on one re-make.

Friday the 13th was horrible.

reply

Really? You didn't like Dead Silence? I thought it was great. hmm... well, I REALLY wanted to see Captivity, but now I' not sure :/ I didn't expect to see so many negative comments on the board.

I am free in all the ways that you are not

Darkness Falls is like Citizen Kane compared to this POS. Captivity is one of the worst movies ever made.

You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.

reply

The Hitcher 2007 had Sean Bean and Neal McDonough, this POS had just Elisha Cuthbert, but that did pretty much nothing. Hitcher rules!!!!

As You Can See, I'm A Lot Happier- Joker 89

reply

OMG no way, Neal McDonough? You mean the same Neal McDonough who was in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, and I Know Who Killed Me?

Not an indicator of quality. Dude will make anything.

It was definitely not a good movie by any means. It had a lot of the same problems as the original. There's nothing more frustrating than a movie where the killer refuses to die and cannot stop magically re-appearing wherever the heroes go, despite impossible odds. It's been done to death.

The Hills Have Eyes and even The Hitcher were both solid flicks. If you guys really think those are worse or even on Par with this Piece of S you're loopy.

dead silence was not bad i found it scary and it had an amazing twist.

I didnt think that Darkness Falls and Dead Silence were that bad.

Bad horror movies

S.I.C.K.
Knock, Knock
Urban Ledgends: Bloody Mary

There are more but those were both really bad

reply

Now we're getting serious. I mean, some of the movies mentioned were bad, but definitely not worse than Captivity. "S.I.C.K." was definitely worse, though. "Urban Legends: Bloody Mary" was awful, but I still found it rather entertaining. I would add "Feardotcom" to the list.
