How the hell do you make that kind of mistake? It was horribly obvious and made no sense, ruined an already poor film. what were they thinking.
I don't think it's that big of a mistake. Why couldn't it have been a friend of theirs (just as demented as them)?
shareIf it were a friend it would've been revealed in the film at some point. That's just the science of film. I have to agree with the OP.
shareSometimes thing are put in movies simply to leave it open for a sequel. Saw did it with all of the movies so its not the "science of film" to reveal everything.
