Captivity blew. It's all full of pointless gross-out horror with a weak plot. The movie looked so cheap; I could have done a better job.

The torture in this movie didn't gross me out at all; I've seen "The Dentist" movies so tooth-pulling is been there done that. Also, the flesh smoothie just looked so lame. I guess if you're not used to seeing this it might gross you out but to me this delivered nothing.

Only good thing about this movie to me was seeing Elisha Cuthbert running around in skimpy outfits.

I agree that this movie is awful. It is quite literally one of the single most pointless movies I have ever seen.

It wasn't me who was murdered, was it?

Agreed, Captivity was terrible.
For a viewer like me, who wished to watch a terrifying psychological horror film, it is neither clever, well-done, unpredictable, nor scary.
For someone who wants to see a sick-minded torture porn flick (which is not my case), it's tame, not controversial at all, and with too few gory moments.
Just a pointless, uninteresting, crappy movie, one you forget immediately.
And the acting... lol.
