Did I get a pg13 version?

I am completely lost, the version I saw didnt have any dog shots, acid, her becoming a killer at the end, the movie showing the killers as kids or any of the other gory scenes everyone is talking about. Even the site comparing the European and American versions had shots I didnt see. At the end of the version I saw she just walked off and it paned onto her poster. I'm pissed, I wanted to see this movie because of the trailer but there was barley anything from the trailer in the movie.

The original version of the film did not really have any gore and was more of a thriller. The US and UK version had re-shoots to add gore, (Dog, acid and so on). Hope this helped.

The copy I watched had all those parts, and I still feel like I wasted those 90 minutes of my life.

It seems like you were one of the lucky ones who got the spanish thriller version of the movie

It was never intended as a torture porn movie but the production company wanted to cash in on the success of Hostel and Saw so they decided to reshoot alot of scenes and add more scenes of people getting tortured after the original thriller version was done

To me it sounds like you shouldn't be pissed at all because it appears that that version is much better, personally I've only seen the "torture porn" version but I'd rather seen the spanish thriller one
